My cartoons will speak for themselves on my assessment of events in the past week. While Modi Juggernaut rides on with renewed vigour it derives from every by election in the country (save Punjab), the 'challenger' is at sea (literally , in Kerala with fishermen) having no idea or inclination to do anything about it - at least for Democracy sake, being the 'largest ' Opposition in Parliament!
The fellow nonchalantly watches dessimation of Cong- in abject surrender by an incompetent unleader! (this word coined entirely by me)
But I am sure a non Gandhi leader from among many Cong men competent and charismatic enough ( for eg. Dr Shashi Tharoor) within the party will take over and save the party like Modi saved BJP on the verge of disintegration post Vajpayee! Indian democracy needs it to strengthen it. Let's hope for the best.
India is such a vibrant country, so much is happening and my next lot of cartoons are almost ready and can be expected soon.
